White Coat Ceremony

So today was Seans first day of classes.  While he was at classes Kristen and I decided to go grocery shopping.  We somehow managed to get on the wrong bus, and ended up going through one of the worst areas around us, but hey we found a new grocery store, and everything is much cheaper!  There were tons of fruit stands today around, and I found a new fruit!  These little balls of goodness are called water lemons.  Don't let the odd insides throw you, they were delicious.  They look like little balls of tadpoles which you have to suck out, but they taste more like pomegranate seeds than frogs.
After our shopping adventure, we came home and got ready for Sean's white coat ceremony.  We decided to arrive at 230, thinking we would be right on time to get a seat for the 5pm opening.  We were a bit to early, but once people started arriving around 315, we were happy to be up front.  We almost witnessed a few parent brawls over who was in fourth or fifth place, who had flown farther to see their child walk, and who had the better ticket.
The photo on our left was when the students were being taught how to fold their coats.  Picture 700 students all holding up their coats with confused looks on their faces, it was priceless.

And all the students with their white coats on!

Sean and his new bff Ross.  Look how cute they are!
 Ross and Kristen pose!
And sean and I...It was hot and my hair did not want to cooperate.

Sean and Ross have lockers RIGHT next to one another.  They even have matching locks since Kristen and I bought them together this morning.

Sean was soooo happy to be done.
